This unit provides an introduction to Ecclesiastical Latin through reading and translating original texts.

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. work in a fully online environment to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of Ecclesiastical Latin grammar.
  2. read and translate simple original Latin texts into English.
  3. translate simple English constructions into Latin.
