Depending on the course you choose, you may find a role on a construction site – as a manager, supervisor, or surveyor – in urban planning, as an interior designer, or as a registered architect.
If you want to become an architect:
To legally work as an architect in Australia, you need to complete a few steps.
- Complete an accredited undergraduate architecture course, such as those offered through Open Universities Australia.
- Undertake an accredited masters degree, also offered through OUA.
- Pass your Architectural Practice Exam (APE) and register with your state or territory’s architectural board.
