Massage Therapists use massage and other body treatments for health, fitness, and therapeutic purposes. They utilize a variety of techniques to deliver maximum benefits for clients.
Duties and tasks
- Advising clients on how to improve circulation and decrease muscle tension
- Assisting with healing by applying a variety of massage techniques
- Interviewing clients and potential clients to determine specific needs
- Massaging tissues to relieve pain and prevent future illness
- Providing clients with ideas on relaxation and stretching techniques
- Setting up massage and therapy plans

Working conditions
