About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. explain the international and domestic policies that underpin the protection of intellectual property rights
    2. explain the impact of international and domestic cultural perspectives on the protection of intellectual property rights
    3. analyse and interpret the relevant statutory and common law regimes that protect intellectual property rights
    4. apply relevant legal concepts and principles to analyse and solve hypothetical problems or case studies.
