This subject advances student knowledge and skills in estate planning, from the regulatory environment, including the legal and tax implications of ownership structures in the management and transfer of assets, through to strategies to manage the client-professional relationship in the face of difficult circumstances including family breakdown, bankruptcy and the loss of a loved one.
Prerequisite: AFE122 Financial Planning 1. It is assumed that students have completed AFE227 Superannuation and Retirement.
