About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. contextualise technological applications and work processes related to knowledge organization systems and metadata
    2. use international indexing standards to describe information objects
    3. create information products using international standards and approaches
    4. demonstrate cultural competencies when creating information products and tools.

  • CUR-INL-GDI-2022 - Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies
  • CUR-INR-GDI-2022 - Graduate Diploma in Records Management and Archives
  • CUR-INM-MAS-2022 - Master of Information Management

Elective

  • OUA-PSU-GCE-2022 - Postgraduate Single Subjects
  • UNE-PRO-GCE-2022 - Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice

Equivalent subjects

You won't be able to enrol into this subject if you've already successfully completed or currently enrolled in the following subject(s) as they are considered anti-requisites due to the similarity of the content.
