About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. analyse and reflect on the role of the teacher in planning effective teaching and learning using current understandings about how students learn and knowledge in some content areas
    2. create and evaluate effective lesson plans to show clear links between curriculum, objectives, teaching and learning strategies and assessment
    3. demonstrate the use of effective planning, and a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies in a classroom setting
    4. examine the concepts of teacher professional identity, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
