About this subject

  • Upon successful completion of this subject, students should be able to:

    1. Evaluate the theory and principles of managing health data and clinical documentation systems
    2. Compare and contrast the practice of, standards promoting and governance arrangements for health data and clinical documentation management
    3. Analyse health data and information systems to evaluate the performance of a health program or service
    4. Articulate the ethical, legal and political issues in health data and documentation improvement
