About this subject

  • For those who are interested in teaching Digital Technologies as a discrete subject (hereinafter referred to as Option A), on successful completion of this Unit, you will be able to:

    1. Apply digital solutions to reflect good teaching and assessment in the Digital Technologies; and
    2. Critically evaluate your own teaching of Digital Technologies.

    For those who are interested in applying Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a general capability in their specialisations (hereinafter referred to as Option B), on successful completion of this Unit, you will be able to:

    1. Differentiate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Digital Technologies, particularly in the context of the Australian Curriculum; and
    2. Apply ICTs to reflect good teaching and assessment in your own specialism.
