About this subject

  • Students who successfully complete this subject will be able to:

    1. Apply coherent and advanced knowledge on the use of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data by organisations to a complex business problem using appropriate business methods and tools
    2. Apply business fundamentals to the analysis, design and operation of a data structures using appropriate data modelling tools
    3. Critically analyse database design trends using the current academic literature
    4. Communicate proficiently in professional practice to a variety of audiences.
