About this subject
Students who successfully complete his subject will be able to:
- Develop and demonstrate an advanced and integrated understanding of the principles of business analysis and how to apply their knowledge in resolving business problems in a contemporary organisational context
- Elicit and understand the requirements of a range of different stakeholder groups, manage the multiple and conflicting perspectives of a business problem using a variety of business analysis approaches (e.g Agile, SDLC, etc)
- Apply a range of analytical and problem solving methods, tools and techniques to complex and interconnected organisational problem contexts to prioritise requirements, define a solution scope, and establish the feasibility of various solutions proposals
- Critically evaluate proposed solutions to determine the best fit with business requirements using decision-making tools, identify gaps and shortcomings in proposed solutions, and demonstrate an understanding of techniques used for evaluating deployed solutions to confirm that they meet the original stakeholder needs
- Formulate solution implementation plans, associated organisational impacts, identify how benefits will be tracked and realised, and understand how to conduct and report on post-implementation reviews to specialist and non-specialist audiences

This subject is an advanced subject which aims to further develop the underlying knowledge, skills and other competencies that are critical to the effective business analysis.
