This subject aims to equip students with knowledge of generic organisational change theories and concepts applied to criminal justice agencies. The subject will be structured by three phases. First, important general theories of organisational change will be introduced that provides the underpinning framework for the remainder of the degree. Next, methods of monitoring and evaluating initiatives, as well as techniques of planned change are explored. The final component of the subject covers deliberate efforts to introduce, encourage and communicate planned change with criminal justice organisations.
