About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. critically appraise the design, applicability and utility of research studies in health research
    2. assess factors affecting credibility of data and explain the limitations of research paradigms
    3. critically appraise research design for the intended respondents
    4. identify and apply ethical and practical considerations in conducting health research
    5. recommend and justify the most appropriate research approach to evaluate a health problem.
