Award requirements
To be eligible for the award of Master of Professional Engineering Leadership (MProfEngLead), you must successfully acquire 80 credit points as prescribed below:
- 40 credit points of advanced standing;
- 20 credit points of core courses;
- 20 credit points of listed elective courses.

Entry requirements
Applicants for the Master of Professional Engineering Leadership must:
- possess an accredited or recognised four-year Bachelor degree in Engineering from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) AND
- have been awarded Chartered Professional Engineer Status (CPEng) by Engineers Australia.
Upon acceptance, students will be granted 40 credit points of advanced standing on the basis of their current Chartered Status through Engineers Australia.
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
- A minimum overall band score of 7.0 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.5 and
- English test results must be no more than two years old.
The Direct Entry Program (DEP) pathway is not accepted for this program.
No further credit in addition to the 40 credit points of advanced standing will be approved.
Study method requirements
This program comprises four courses to be completed over eight months. The program is taught over four teaching periods. Each course is taught over a six-week period. Students will complete one course in each teaching period.
