Manager (Child Care Centre)
Child Care Centre Managers organise and coordinate the activities of child care facilities. They are responsible for not only human resources like staff and clients, but also for physical resources on the centre property.
Duties and tasks
- Acting as a point of contact for parents and answering parents questions
- Hiring, firing, and scheduling staff
- Maintaining records for the centre
- Planning and implementing programs for children in the centre
- Providing care for and ensuring the safety of children left in their care
- Supervising employees, including teachers and carers, in the centre
- Working with health and safety organisations to ensure the centre is kept up to code

Working conditions
