About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Analyse linguistic productions from a range of children and recognise features of development and stages of acquisition in short exercises
    2. Write a report discussing the acquisition of language in child language data, identifying particular features as evidence of analysis
    3. Explore issues in detail beyond that presented in the subject and prepare a piece of writing examining issues that affect successful acquisition in children.
