About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. discuss the concepts of space place and globalisation in the make-up of society
    2. examine the cultural economic and environmental dimensions of world population growth and trends
    3. critically analyse the contested relationships between place and identity including Indigenous claims to place
    4. apply critical skills in the interpretation and analysis data
    5. synthesise the analytical skills by evaluating and reporting on a specific Human Geography challenge
    6. demonstrate an understanding of plagiarism, paraphrasing and the principles of Academic Integrity.
