About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. examine the geographical principles of sustainable environments
    2. identify and evaluate key issues relating to the global food situation and the challenges to increase food production
    3. critically evaluate adaptation strategies to address the challenges of food security
    4. apply critical skills in the interpretation, presentation and analysis of data
    5. synthesise the analytical skills by evaluating and reporting on a specific challenge relating to Food Security.
