About this subject
At the completion of this subject students will be able to:
- refine skills, techniques, methods and processes by producing a resolved body of work
- evaluate own knowledge, skills or abilities in order to make self-directed learning decisions
- propose, manage and plan a body of work, applying knowledge of chosen skills, techniques, methods and processes, within an international and cultural context.
- Refine and Resolve major body of work
- Presentation of major body of work to professional standards
This subject was previously known as VSW34Fine Art Project Advanced B.
This subject is designed to further develop your capacity to refine, resolve, present and critique self‑directed studio practice. You will contextualise your practice within a broader cultural, social and international context and prepare a body of work for exhibition through group discussion and ongoing presentations.
Please Note: If it’s your first time studying a Curtin University subject you’ll need to complete their compulsory‘Academic Integrity Program’. Single subject FAQs
Single subjects are the individual components that make up a degree. With Open Universities Australia, you’re able to study many of them as stand-alone subjects, including postgraduate single subjects, without having to commit to a degree.
Each of your subjects will be held over the course of a study term, and they’ll usually require 10 to 12 hours of study each week. Subjects are identified by a title and a code, for example, Developmental Psychology, PSY20007.

If that degree allows entry via undergraduate subjects, there will be information about this under the Entry Requirements section. You will find a list of 2-4 open enrolment subjects you need to successfully complete to qualify for admission into that qualification.
Once you pass those subjects, you will satisfy the academic requirements for the degree, and you can apply for entry.
