On successful completion of this Course the learner will be able to:

- apply critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills relevant to Professional Writing and Publishing to generate innovative solutions to problems
- use technology appropriately to communicate Professional Writing and Publishing concepts to experts and non-experts
- consider global perspectives on Professional Writing and Publishing and international Professional Writing and Publishing standards
- demonstrate respect for Indigenous values, cultures and knowledges and consider Indigenous perspectives on Professional Writing and Publishing

The Undergraduate Professional Writing and Publishing is designed for people who are interested in pursuing a career in Professional Writing and Publishing. The Undergraduate Certificate may enable entry (and credit for the four units completed) into the Professional Writing and Publishing major within the Bachelor of Arts among others at Curtin OUA.
