About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject you will be able to:

    1. demonstrate familiarity with current and past contexts for writing for children and adolescents in Australia and internationally
    2. analyse and discuss trends, issues, literary concerns and developmental influences on children's and young adults’ publishing in Australia
    3. engage with the content of the subject through written skills, ie. in academic essay genre or in creative response and exegesis forms
    4. display critical judgment through reading and group discussion, eg. in an online discussion group based on subject readings.
