How do I apply and enrol through OUA?

You can apply and enrol through the OUA website. You will receive your offer letter and enrolment confirmations directly from OUA.

Any changes to your enrolment – including re-enrolment, course withdrawals and program changes – should be completed through the OUA website. If you need assistance, you can contact an OUA student adviser.

How will I receive my Notre Dame login details and important updates?

Once your enrolment is finalised, the University of Notre Dame Australia will provide your login details and Notre Dame student email address. Important academic information will be sent to your Notre Dame email address, so check it regularly, or set up email forwarding to your personal email account.

What are the support services available to Notre Dame students studying through OUA?

When you enrol though OUA, you can access Notre Dame’s support services.

Visit Notre Dame's Services, resources and tools to see the range of services available, from study support via the University Library to wellbeing, access and inclusion, and support for international students and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Where can I access my results and academic records?

Your course results will be published in Blackboard once they have been finalised. Academic records and statements – including enrolment statements, payment statements, records of results, statements of attainment and eCANs – can be accessed through the OUA Student Hub.

What is special consideration and how do I apply?

Special consideration may be available if circumstances such as illness, disability, trauma, compassionate grounds or other significant events have affected your ability to complete assessments, attend examinations, participate in classes or meet compulsory course requirements.

Request for special consideration must be lodged with the relevant Notre Dame School prior to the examination or no later than three working days after the examination.

What should I do if exceptional circumstances force me to withdraw from a course?

If circumstances beyond your control affect your studies after the census date and you have to withdraw before completing a course, you may be eligible to apply to OUA for special circumstances consideration, which may include a refund of your fees.

Can I appeal an academic or administrative decision?

Yes. Students have the right to appeal academic or administrative decisions if they believe University policies, procedures or regulations were not properly considered. Before lodging a formal appeal, students are encouraged to discuss the matter with their Course Coordinator, Program Coordinator or National Head of School. Further information is available through the University's appeals and grievances process.
