About this subject

  • Upon successful completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Defend the key considerations that inform the location, design, and operations of a warehouse or distribution centre.
    2. Evaluate the impacts of warehouse or distribution centre operations on the performance of the whole logistics system.
    3. Analyse warehouse or distribution centre continuous improvement processes using quality and lean management principles and tools.
