About this subject

  • Upon completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Analyse the theory and practical problems of corporate finance in the modern business environment.
    2. Evaluate the way corporate managers use financial theory to solve practical problems in a team context.
    3. Apply underlying theories, concepts, assumptions, limitations and arguments to make corporate finance decisions within real-world constraints.
    4. Clearly present corporate finance issues and possible solutions to business professionals.

You must either have successfully completed the following subject(s) before starting this subject, or currently be enrolled in the following subject(s) in a prior study period; or enrol in the following subject(s) to study prior to this subject:

  • Other requirements - Teaching Arrangement: Introductory workshop (1-hour); Pre-recorded lectures (1-2 hours per week); Online workshops (12 hours per semester).
