About this subject

  • On completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

    1. Use the appropriate process for answering a legal hypothetical
    2. Explain the importance of a law student’s integrity obligations and how to meet them
    3. Find and use primary and secondary sources, and identify which are credible or authoritative
    4. Cite references in accordance with the Australian Guide to Legal Citation
    5. Employ principles of plain, professional and persuasive communication in legal and academic writing
