Description

How do you make others sit up and listen to your voice, ideas, pitches, arguments? What does it mean to be an ethical orator, an engaging performer, and an informed and sensitive speaker? In this subject, you prepare, write, and perform presentations sensitive to purpose, audience, and context. In writing and performance workshops, you learn a range of rhetorical practices to conceive and compose powerful texts, and you rehearse and hone performative techniques to bring texts alive for diverse audiences.
