    1. Map and analyse the causes and dynamics of conflict
    2. Describe and analyse practices and institutions of peacebuilding
    3. Think critically about practices of peacebuilding in relation to existing conflicts
    4. Read, research and write critically on war, peace, and conflict resolution.

Prerequisites: Students must have completed 15 credit points of any Humanities and Social Sciences subject.
Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed POL3IME (International Relations of the Middle east) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
