About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Evaluate the key principles, theories, and concepts of psychological assessment and testing. Demonstrate the application of psychological assessment to real world settings and identify issues related to the appropriate use of psychological assessment in diverse contexts, including cultural and individual diversity
    2. Work independently and as part of a group to evaluate empirical evidence for psychometric properties of psychological assessment tools.
    3. Interpret, synthesise, and report on the outcomes of psychological assessment and develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative assessment information.
    4. Develop an awareness of the ethical and professional conduct requirements associated with psychological testing and assessment.
