About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Acquire an understanding of the major milestones and stages of human lifespan development and related key concepts to critically analyse cases and research in developmental psychology.
    2. Use library resources, databases, and peer-reviewed journal articles to investigate developmental research questions relevant to individuals at different stages of the lifespan.
    3. Evaluate and apply research methods to investigate a variety of developmental research questions relevant to individuals at different stages of the lifespan and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    4. Develop and apply knowledge of current developmental research findings to interpret data, generate hypotheses, and reach evidence-based conclusions.

To enrol in this subject you must be accepted into one of the following degrees:

  • LAT-PYS-DEG-2024 - Bachelor of Psychological Science

Elective

  • LAT-BUS-DEG-2024 - Bachelor of Business
  • LAT-ART-DEG-2024 - Bachelor of Arts

Others

Prerequisites: Students must be admitted into the following course - SBPSO or undertaking a Psychological Science major (MJR-PSY01) and have successfully completed 75 credit points.
