About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Appropriately employ a range of tools for the analysis of meaning
    2. Develop an ability to present and analyse data in written form and increased sophistication in articulating and defending linguistic analyses
    3. Collect and present natural linguistic data and use the tools learned in this subject to analyse and explain that data

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed LIN3SEM (Semantics and Pragmatics: The Relationship Between Meaning and Use) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
