About this subject

  • On successful completion you will be able to:

    1. Evaluate diverse positions/arguments regarding topics/debate
    2. Present brief and persuasive argument to peers that focuses on GSDS issues within democracy
    3. Produce an original piece of sustained complex written argument that can contribute to current public debate regarding diversity and democracy
    4. Produce original, well researched response to relevant topic in GSDS
    5. Summarise research and arguments regarding key debates relating to diversity within democracy
    6. Work effectively and cooperatively in groups

Entry requirements


Prerequisites: Students should have completed 45 credit points of subjects in any discipline.
Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed GSD2DDD (Diversity Democracy Dissent) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
