Creating websites that scale to serve hundreds of millions of users with acceptable response times is challenging. The main focus of this subject is on cloud computing concepts and tools needed to make websites scalable. This subject assumes the fundamental web technologies have already been taught in the prerequisite subjects. The subject will cover topics in the cloud computing concept and technologies, such as cloud repository, virtualisation, the framework for frontend and backend development, API, web server storage, and the management of application development (CI/CD) This subject will also cover the fundamental of cloud computing platform and its features.
