About this subject

  • After successfully completing this subject, you should be able to:

    1. Demonstrate an understanding of the major influences that are shaping the future of work like the emerging changes in technology/automation, datafication, digitization, work arrangements and their implications for the workforce, organisations and jobs.
    2. Use a range of theoretical perspectives and research to critically evaluate the challenges /opportunities for the future world of work, human capital and HRM strategies.
    3. Assess and demonstrate digital literacy / digital communication skills necessary for job readiness for the emerging employment market and integrating the learning with professional development goals.
