After successfully completing this subject, you should be able to:
- Discuss a range of key business strategy and innovation theories and models, including being able to determine which model/theory applies to specific types of companies, economies and industries.
- Critically analyse business cases in developing, implementing, and managing technology and innovation from a strategic perspective.
- Apply the theories and models to interpret, analyse and make recommendations on practical business technological innovation challenges and problems.

In this course, decision making processes for innovative approaches will be reviewed to tackle business challenges including wicked problems. The impact of leadership and management in terms of decision making in organisations will be addressed through strategies including the use of artificial intelligence and interaction with digitisation to engage and optimise decision making. The aim is to give students the scope to maximise decision making processes in problem solving for all stakeholders in the environment of current and global business issues.
