At the completion of this subject you will:

Whether you work as an administrative assistant, a communication officer, a low-level manager or as the Chief Executive Officer, to operate efficiently you need well developed communication skills. This subject investigates the connections between clear communication and effective leadership and management.
You will explore the theoretical models that underpin contemporary communication processes and the different communication structures and styles that exist in modern business organisations. By interrogating concepts such as interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, diversity and team dynamics you develop a clearer awareness of your own communication strengths and weaknesses and an understanding of how those around you communicate. Through practical exercises and assessment you will learn how to identify and map the communication structure and networks that exist in workplaces and how to improve your own written and oral communication skills.

Once you pass those subjects, you will satisfy the academic requirements for the degree, and you can apply for entry.
