About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate advanced understanding of information research, evaluation and evidence-based practice
    2. examine scholarly communication approaches for diverse audiences
    3. assess ethical implications associated with practitioner information research in diverse social and cultural contexts
    4. design an information research project and evaluation to address a complex professional issue
    5. critically reflect on a professional experience in an information environment.

Students must have completed at least 75 credit points in one of the following study packages to enrol in this unit:

Additional requirements

  • Placement requirements - Students will undertake a three-week practicum placement.
