This subject explores general ideas and critical concepts that form the foundations of cultural studies. The subject develops ideas about culture, texts, and modes of power and production. The subject aims to expand student understandings of the complex and interwoven operation of culture through examining a variety of texts through historical and social disciplinary lenses.
