About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. apply digital curation and preservation concepts, principles and practices 
    2. critique preservation policies and strategies
    3. research and analyse the diverse cultural, technical and legal requirements that impact on preservation planning and management
    4. develop a preservation project
    5. critically reflect on a professional experience in an information environment

  • Placement requirements - This subject contains a three-week practicum placement.
  • Other requirements - Administrative access to computing facilities, including reliable access to the Internet and to a PC computer which runs Windows (including Word).
