OUA Pathways

If you want to study, but you’re not sure where to start, OUA Pathways are a great stepping stone.

Perhaps you haven’t studied before or for a while—OUA Pathways can help you find the right direction.

How it works

Get started by picking your field:

  • Business
  • Criminology
  • Education
  • Engineering
  • Health
  • Humanities
  • Science
  • Social science

Then, start studying the four preselected subjects, without committing to a particular degree.

OUA Pathways help you decide whether to continue studying the field, or try another direction entirely. You decide what’s next.

Whilst OUA Pathways sets you on a path to your degree, when you’ve completed your subjects and you’re ready to commit, you’ll still need to complete your degree application for university approval.

Pathway advantages

As soon as you start your Pathway, you’re on the road to completing your degree. When you study an OUA Pathway you’ll gain credit for the subjects you successfully complete, then you can apply these credits towards your degree.

Additionally, you’ll have a better understanding of the field, and what online study is all about.
