Higher education

  • An Australian bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in a business (or related) discipline from a recognised tertiary institution

Work and Life

  • Five (5) years of professional, administrative or managerial work experience.

Description

This practical, interdisciplinary course has key themes of context-based teamwork, sound and ethical decision-making, and strategic planning. During this course, you will learn to apply a body of specialised knowledge to the changing sports environments in which you work or aspire to work as a team leader or manager.

You will also acquire foundational research skills that will prepare you to interpret and evaluate theoretical propositions and business-related data, so you can continue to build on your knowledge throughout your career.

This course provides you with flexible study options to advance your career prospects as you work, and successful completion of this course will act as a pathway into the Master of Business Administration (Sport Management).
