Special needs education is a response to a large section of our population – our disabled community. This course takes a design-thinking approach to analyse issues and challenges faced by people with a range of additional learning needs. Informed by advanced theoretical knowledge, this special needs teacher course focuses on problem solving from a person-first approach, which shifts the role of the person at the centre from passive acceptance to a more active role that considers their individual needs.
Please note this is not an accredited Australian Initial Teacher Education course and therefore does not qualify the you to teach in Australia.
