Higher education
For entry into the Graduate Certificate in Marketing students must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, in any discipline, at Bachelor level or higher in an Australian higher education institution OR
- The equivalent standard in any other institution.
Work and Life
Qualifications, relevant work experience or other special circumstances, as approved by the Executive Dean or delegated authority.

The Graduate Certificate in Marketing is a 6 month full-time or part-time equivalent program offered by the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. The program is full fee-paying, which means that you will be charged at the full fee-paying rate listed for each subject.
This program provides an introduction to Marketing principles for students who are new to the discipline, or who only have limited experience in Marketing. Successful completion of this program will give students a solid foundation in Marketing fundamentals, and can be built on through further studies to achieve the level of competency required to become a Marketing professional.
Recommended Study Pattern
For students undertaking full-time study the following study pattern is recommended. If students are undertaking part-time study, we recommend that students complete all first year compulsory subjects prior to completing elective subjects to maximise success.
