Entry requirements

Open enrolment subjects

An Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher-level qualification, in a related discipline (business or IT related) from a recognised tertiary institution.

Work and Life

Students who do not meet the above entry requirement for the Graduate Certificate may be considered for entry if they have five years relevant full-time work experience (business or IT related). Applicants will need to submit a CV.

English Proficiency Requirements

English Proficiency Entry Requirements


International students are required to provide current evidence of English language proficiency for admission to RMIT University. You can provide your results from one of these three options:

1. an accepted English language proficiency test, or

2. an accepted English language provider, or

3. a recognised Australian or international qualification.

This course lays down the strategy and governance groundwork required for a digital transformation. Identify opportunities for digital transformation and develop innovative and compelling strategies. Explore digital business and operating models including governance structures. Uncover how emerging technologies will create business value. Apply key frameworks around organisational strategy, transformation management, and organisational theory


Digital Transformation Enablers

This course interrogates the fundamental enablers required to successfully undertake digital transformation. Develop the mindset, organisational culture and team to embrace and drive change. Make data-driven decisions from generated insights and identify valuable data sources. Explore how technology can facilitate personalised experience, processes, and products. Understand frameworks around change theory, organisational culture, business analytics, technology strategy, and data visualisation


Digital Transformation Execution

The Digital Transformation Execution course addresses how to execute a transformation initiative. Understand how capability, communication and operational challenges often lead to transformation failure. Explore how to mitigate transformation challenges and sell your vision by developing key artefacts such as business cases, budgets, and initiative roadmaps. Comprehend the key theories and frameworks around effective communication, project evaluation, cost and benefit analysis, and project management
