Career opportunities

Graduates pursue career opportunities that combine knowledge of business and law; and those specific to each discipline.

For business: advertising, marketing, public relations, product management, management, international business, human resource management, investment, banking, accounting and finance.

For law: as solicitors or barristers (after satisfying Professional admission authority requirements); or in law-related areas in private, corporate or government organisations.

Professional recognition

The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board (LPAB) and fulfils the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession. Professional admission authorities also require all law graduates to complete practical legal training to practise as a lawyer.

Students who intend to practise law outside Australia should check with the relevant country’s admission body to confirm their practising requirements.
