About this degree
On successful completion of the program, students should be able to:
- Develop specialised skills relevant to communication and creative industries, including creativity, strategic thinking, business capability, and practical skills required for success in the creative and cultural sectors.
- Use creative and critical thinking to analyse complex information, evaluate strategies and effectively communicate solutions to authentic creative and communication problems
- Effectively communicate and collaborate using industry relevant professional practices in authentic settings and across oral, written and electronic communication.
- Engage ethically, critically considering a range of local and global influences, to actively participate in interpreting and evaluating contemporary policies in the creative arts and industries.
- Create a professional portfolio of work to showcase the theoretical issues, problems and methodologies used within the creative industries
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse perspectives in professional communication and creative practices.
