About this subject

  • At the completion of this subject students will be able to:

    1. demonstrate a broad knowledge about the history of conflict and political violence in South Asia
    2. explain and analyse the nature of political and security challenges confronting the South Asian region and how these challenges impact upon global security
    3. display a well-developed analytical ability to design comprehensive strategies to deal with all aspects of security in South Asia
    4. effectively communicate complex information, concepts and problems with respect to conflict and political violence in South Asia through clear and accurate written work and video or oral presentations.
