Rethinking Aboriginal Studies

About this subject

    1. Demonstrate understanding of aspects of Aboriginal history, research practices, politics and community.
    2. Analyse key ethical and cultural issues relating to Aboriginal society and Australian relations.
    3. Analyse the impact of historical changes to Aboriginal society and contrast with contemporary Aboriginal Australia.
    4. Evaluate key Aboriginal Studies topics and theories of Aboriginal Studies.

Prerequisites: 60 credit points of level 2 subjects

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed ABS2DAS Rethinking Aboriginal Studies are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
