About this subject

    1. Develop awareness of and participation in the target language and cultural aspects of Hindi speaking areas of India
    2. Develop communicative skills through pair and group work activities
    3. Learn to read and write Devanagari script system and write short texts
    4. Integrate discrete learning to produce a new meaningful whole by participating in class, doing homework and completing assessment

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed HND1DBA (Beginning Hindi 1A), HND1BEA (Beginning Hindi 1A), HND1BE1 (Beginning Hindi 1), HND2BE1 (Beginners Hindi) 1, HND3BE1 (Beginners Hindi 1) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
