About this subject

    1. Frame a line of argument about an aspect of a past using primary and secondary sources.
    2. Assimilate historians' lines of arguments and use of visual and textual sources in relation to a particular historical problem, placing all in their contexts.
    3. In a team and individually, assess continuity and change in the different context of a past.
    4. Individually, investigate a small historical topic and frame a response in any one of a variety of history genres.

Past La Trobe University students who have previously completed HIS1GMS (Global Migration Stories) are ineligible to enrol in this subject.
Pre-requisites: Students must have completed 60 credit points of Level one subjects.
