About this subject

    1. Demonstrate an understanding of the physical and economic features that support the sustainability of agribusinesses and their supply chains in regional economies.
    2. Identify and evaluate the range of market opportunities available to firms operating in the agribusiness environment.
    3. Evaluate various concepts of strategy and marketing management and recommend appropriate strategic directions that exploit market opportunities and/or the organisational capabilities of agribusiness firms and their supply chains.
    4. Formulate and assemble a coherent marketing strategy and tactical program to enable agribusiness firms to achieve their stated objective/s.
    5. Compare and contrast theoretical frameworks and industry implementation of strategies for the development and implementation of marketing strategy.
    6. Reflect on practical application of theoretical marketing frameworks in the context of other subjects to demonstrate an understanding of the students relative preparedness for entering the workforce.
